    For my sustained investigation, I sought to visualize the struggles young adults face. I represented a selection of struggles by juxtaposing cartoonish, unrealistic style with provocative imagery in order to oppose interior and exterior perspectives. 

    Over the course of my sustained investigation, I heavily utilized digital media to create my works. For my first and fifth investigations for instance, I created the piece entirely digitally in Photoshop (save for an initial sketch as a reference). I also utilized digital photography in two of my pieces - namely my second and third investigations - in combination with digital elements of design and assets. My third investigation utilized physically illustrated elements, combined with digital photography and digital design. I also utilized physical medium in my fourth investigation, which was created using colored pencil and black pen. I'm proud of the progress I have made since beginning my investigation, especially in digital shading and visual elements.\
