Meghan Dellose Repetition in Design

  1. I love your exploration into three separate works. What inspired you to create the first work? I reminds me of a cubist collage! Maybe you can take that style and use it in a sustained investigation project. I think, with a vibrant background and a block of color behind each piece of the picture, it could make a great piece!

  2. I really like this and how you chose every other panel to be color like a tic tac toe board. It also looks cool because your pants are stripped and align with the panels, so it makes the colored panels really pop. It reminds me of that project freshman year when we drew part of a picture of a still life in black and white and another in color.

  3. Meghan, very interesting use of parts/pieces to explore composition, repeating shapes, and gridded effect of imagery.
Maybe for a future piece you can revisit this idea, but "scramble" the squares/tiles-especially as you look to explore disintegration or loss of control through addictions in your Sustained Investigation.

  4. Meghan, I absolutely love this! It looks so cool with the variation between black-and-white and color versions of the photo! (Also I love the pants! :) )
