Trusello Choice Board

Honestly, I just wanted to do a side profile. Plus most of my pieces are full-body figures. I played with blend modes and put random pink blobs on her face and hair :)

  1. Julianna, I appreciate the wide range of line variety and mark I see in this digital drawing! I also am intrigued by what I interpret as a stern or serious (or perhaps just overly focused?) subject amidst a playful patterned "doodle-y" background. An interesting, unexpected, and curious juxtaposition.

  2. This is so good! I like how you used the black outline to separate the face and the background. I also like how you incorporated pink in the face. Good job :)

  3. Julianna, I LOVE how the texture in her white hair kind of looks like crayons, and the background looks so sketchy and fun! what I love most though is the pink streaks across her face- it really incorporates the background into the figure in such an interesting way.

  4. I am loving this piece Julianna! I want a copy to hang in my room! The fun playful pink background behind the serious faced figure tells a story on its own, and I love the pink shadows on the hair and face. Great job!
