Sisson Choice Board 15
I made this Illustrator because I haven't used it in a while. It a clock with a person running inside of it so it kind of goes with my sustained investigation of time.
I'm glad to hear you revisited Illustrator! The starry sky reminds me of your Christmas card design. For me personally, the runner in the clock references a hamster wheel, relating to the theme of monotony and repetition I have seen emerging in your recent pieces. The repetition of the layered triangular elements behind the tower activate the space, and also help support a sense of movement.
Rachel, I really love how symmetrical and dynamic this piece is! The spiky blue shapes behind the clock really draw your eye to the figure inside! This is so cute!
Rachel the detail you put into this piece is outstanding! I love the light blue star/ reflection in the back of the clock tower since it really emphasizes the yellow in the clock. Awesome job!
