Ava, I see so many purposeful and intentional placements-you created "compositional coherence" out of scraps! I especially love Abe Lincoln holding the tiny orange (alien?) figure. I think Robert Rauschenberg would love this collage! This would be a lot of fun to play with in Photoshop with filters, copies of layers, blend modes, and the paint bucket tool. You could even consider using a photo or drawing of one of your next SI subjects as an overlay layer and allow the collages=d background to breathe through some areas of the figure, so the collage becomes "incorporated" into the figure, similar to what you started to explore in SI #5 with your friend's family members and pre-selected imagery into the hoodie.
I absolutely love all of the overlap with the magazine clippings, and the different positions you placed them in, having some be upside down, and the words be vertical. All of the colors work so well together, I see a lot of blue and orange scattered throughout the piece which adds unity and also disunity, and makes the collage even more interesting. Great job!
I really like this however I wish there was more colors that would stand out in the collage bc there are lots of grey colors. I like what you were going for but I want more to pop out
