Atkins Sustained Investigation 3 (The art part)
This is the final painted figure for my SI 3! I cut out the arms and painted them separately. Next steps are to buy wood and plexiglass to build the structure!
I am in love with this! Incorporating the shadow was such a great choice, and makes it looks more realistic than it already looks, and 3D. I love how you chose to work with complementary colors, and how much detail you added to this piece. I believe keeping the bottom of the painting as if it is fading adds such an interesting touch. Great job!
I cannot wait to see the glass incorporate into the story of your piece! Your signature style is one of storytelling; I can always read the scenario and mood of each piece as if you are an author working with three dimensional materials. The fact that this is free-hand is MIND BLOWING. LOOK AT YOU GO!!
I can't wait to see this final result! I think the result will look so amazing and I really love the way you made it 3D. I really love your use of symbolism with the hazmat suit and can't wait to see the rest!
I can't wait to see when you add the wood and plexiglass! I already love the 3D element though with the arms reaching out and creating depth and playing with space. Awesome job!
This is INSANE! I love this piece and i am so excited to see the rest. I get so excited to see each of your pieces because you are always thinking outside of the box for something new. The detail in this watercolor blows me away and I love how the arms are popping out in a 3D like way.
