For this choice board, I chose to experiment with Photoshop again and make a collage of some photographs I found on both Vsco and Google. Below are the photographs I referenced. I wanted to continue with the theme of immigration from my sustained investigation, using the combined black and white theme, as well as gates, that I am planning on incorporating in all of my projects. The kid in my choice board, who is being arrested, is surrounded with the past he left behind and the future that lies ahead of him, the gates from the cages.
This a photograph of a man in Mexico surrounded with some vibrant fabrics.
The helmet that I edited onto my choice board represents the jobs that most immigrants take up. The jobs that not everyone wants because of how laborious it is. However, this opportunity of a better future was taken away, as he is going to be separated and put away in a cage.
Wow! This is again so absolutely incredible. I really strongly admire your photoshop skills and think they've developed to greatly especially over the semester and year. I love your use of repeated patterns in the final piece and love the black and white picture in the middle. It feels like the more you look at it, the more interesting it gets. I really admire your work!
ReplyDeleteThis is so creative! I love how much thought and detail you put into every piece of your work. I also think that the way you repeated the pictures creates a really cool sense of unity in the piece
