Gabriella's Progress for Peer Review

 

I am in the middle of drawing my piece with colored pencils - I need to finish the hair and a bit of the jacket and the eye. I am planning on painting the background but I am not 100% sure yet. The background is going to be a black/dark city scene.

    Wow, I just have to say I love how saturated these colors are! It works great with your focus and it will look awesome against the black background. The orange and the purple look soooo nice! I love the idea of painting the background, maybe a mix of black and a dark navy would look nice. I think it would also look really cool with charcoal as the background to give it a chalky effect.
