My first Sustained Investigation did not hold to this idea. However, my progress on my second sustained investigation project is going smoothly. I did a photo shoot yesterday of posing in the positions I sketched out for myself. My work today is going to focus on designing the background, which I have to figure out still. I want to do an oddly familiar background but I'm struggling to find a setting in my immediate area for where I should photograph or referance. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
I think that’s really cool! I really like your theme of wanting to portray a more darker side in your art. Maybe you could go into the your slideshow you first made and look at those slides because I remember you had a lot of cool examples. Maybe for when you do it, you could do a kinda chiaroscuro type thing where the position of yourself is highlighted in the background and the rest of the background is of darker colors. Maybe for the place it could maybe be something like a dark closet or something else of the sort but I’m not the most well-versed in the oddly familiar.
