  2. I LOVE the colors of the shoe as well as the shading in the legs and arms. This piece leaves the viewer with a lot of unanswered question, like how did the child get these bruises? How is the mother connected to this? Interesting piece!

  5. This is such an interesting piece! The shadows and highlights look so realistic, especially the bruises and the wound. Keeping the background white was a really great idea as it leaves the focus on the leg, and makes it look simplistic. Great job!

  8. Wow I love the simplicity of this piece but also the powerful message it holds. I love the perspective you used in this and how it kinda of gives off the message that although they're all bruised up, they're still going to keep going on and tying their shoe to get up again.

  9. I love how straight forward and to the point this piece is. The white background draws all the attention to the shoe. I also like how you went back and added line details. I think it really brings the piece together!
