I will be adding some branches and leaves sticking out from the frame and hanging upside down.
I am in awe Ava. Adding a personal border instead of a simple black and white one, shows how much planning and thought you put into your piece, even the border. I also love how you thought about you materials so carefully, adding shirt pieces where his shirt was, and even adding a background projection. This is amazing!
ReplyDeleteAva I love the use of a picture frame. I was actually laying in bed thinking of how I can go forward with my next piece and was thinking of using a picture frame just like this one! Back to your piece though I love how your colors are muted but you bring out what you are trying to capture through the bright expressive eyes and tears and the tie.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to see how you use the projector for the background. I think that is so unique, especially combined with the found objects you incorporated into the painting, as well as the branches and the frame.
