For my choice board, I decided to work on my Sustained Investigation. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try messing around with photoshop to come up with my reference photo for my actual piece. I think I'm going to use watercolor and use this outline of the layered faces as a basis for how the faces will interlay. This was definitely a huge change for me and felt super unfamiliar as this was my second time really using photoshop creatively. Though it took some time, I felt that it was a really good learning experience and good for me to try something new and unfamiliar. For my actual piece, I'm thinking of using watercolor for a diffused look and other media to incorporate textures to evoke the layers of identity.
I am in awe ! This is incredible Bella. The fact that this was only your second time using photoshop creatively is crazy. The holographic look of the lines and the bright colors go so well together and I love how you chose to make the rest of the background black and the outlines in color, it keeps the main focus on the diffused look. I can't wait to see how this turns out!
