Sorry this is a horrible quality photo but I could not edit it in photoshop because my photoshop isn't working so I will have to email Mr. Campion. So this is my repetition project. I was hoping to use this in my portfolio for scholastics but I don't think I can because it was a huge fail and I literally could not shade anything because I did this with chalk pastel and the drawing itself is very small- lesson learned. I tried to do repetition with the bars across the phone and repetition with the blue gradient that surrounds the phone. I think I might do this same concept but either with a different medium or on a bigger scale.
I see what you were trying to do with the bars, however i wish there were more. I love the idea you are expressing but maybe it would have been cool to put even more bars like the picture itself is a prison
ReplyDeleteMargaret, if you learned something, it wasn't a failure! And you should absolutely include this in your portfolio. The atmospheric background supports your interest in representing loneliness and isolation, and I think the use of the phone as a metaphor for a prison or entrapment is brilliant.
