For this piece I took inspiration from a wall paper design and than the bright color palette of the 60's. However I found an article with an image to really help me choose which colors I wanted to use. I decided to find something from THE VALLEY, CA where she grew up because I wanted to pay homage to her and like her childhood. I wanted wanted to make the background solid instead of incorporating it into her like I did with the first one. Wanted to show how growing up in different cities and being different genders can impact people. I will explain more when I truly submit my final piece.
