The artist developed her ideas very well. She shows a clear theme that is developed throughout her pieces. They inquiry is obviously important to the student and sparked their interest.

This work is focused on portraiture. The artist uses references and inspiration from famous pieces of art, but integrates her own ideas and style. The works show her theme of types of balance, for example image 8 uses radial balance and image 9 uses horizontal balance.
3. Materials, Processes, and Ideas - 2
The artist uses painting drawing, and shading precisely with a great use of line and color. There is coherence in the colors and materials used that connects the pieces together
4. Drawing Skills- 3
The student is clearly advanced in their drawing abilities due to the detail in the pieces. Great 2-D skills employed in these pieces.
Part 2: Selected Works
Score: 6
Rationale: This student uses a variety of materials successfully. They use coherent colors and have expression and meaning to their pieces. The work is unique and original, there are many uses of contrasting colors and emphasis to highlight certain areas of the pieces. There are many 2-D techniques used here successfully and organizational skills.
