So this is 1968, and I want to show repetition. '68 was all about vietnam but where my aunt grew up it wasn't really the talk. However my aunt was a girly girl so I want to put dresses in the background to exaggerate how much of a girly girl she was.
Wow! I really love how you're referencing the dresses from the time and planning on incorporating them into your piece. Looking at both the portrait and dress really makes me feel like I'm transported back in time to the 60s.
