For my Sustained Investigation, I'm planning on doing another three silhouettes and this time with acrylic. I'm trying to decide how I want each one to look still and have made a couple different edits. The first is the original but the rest are me playing around with three different blend modes. Right now I think I'm leaning towards the 3rd one because I like how it goes from darker to the original. I want the girl in the corner to be seen as the "visible" to the eye. My theme is still identity and the layers within it. For my actual piece I'll be having a colorful expressive underpainting of another warm and cool color scheme except this time with more expressive, moving, brush strokes. The first two are definitely going to look more blended in and part of the background but I think I'll be keeping the last girl on the far right normal? I'm unsure but I would greatly appreciate feedback!

This is awesome I really like how each picture is like a story with the facial expressions and colors.
ReplyDeleteThis collage is sooooooo cool I feel like you could even submit it like that. I love that you positioned the figures so they are making almost a diagonal across the page, and the emotions are so different!
